Flower Power - Star Power

Los Angeles, CA August 25, 2004 -- Floral Designer Eddie Zaratsian Blooms With Hollywood's A-Listers. For Eddie Zaratsian, of Tic-Tock Couture Floral Creations on La Brea, anything goes. His dramatic arrangements might include artichokes, pineapples, or green tomatoes, and he's likely to quiz callers about the personality of the recipient of the floral creation before he commences his work. When Trudie Styler received one of his arrangements, sent at the request of Tom Cruise's "people," she got right on the phone and asked, "Who are you?" Zaratsian recalls. Ms. Styler and husband Sting are now regulars of the store that began as Eddie's dad's gift and watch-repair shop (dad still has a space in the back).

One of the youngest inductees into the American Institute of Floral Designers, Zaratsian and his artistic team supply their floral creations to Hollywood's elite. With Tic-Tock Couture Floral Creations, nothing is ordinary and everything is extraordinary. Zaratsian and his team travel the world to find the most unique vessels and containers to showcase the exquisite, hand selected blooms.

For over two decades, Tic-Tock Couture Floral Creations has been a Hollywood staple to the recording, film and television industries. Tom Cruise, Salma Hayek, Angela Bassett, Meg Ryan, Tiffany, LeAnn Rimes, Flea, Vince Vaughn, David Arquette & Courteney Arquette Cox, David Schwimmer, Laura Dern and Kelly Ripa are among the bevy of Zaratsian's celebrity clientele. When ambiance is paramount to success, the design team of Tic-Tock Couture Floral Creations is called upon to decorate film and television sets including, Haunted Mansion, Starsky & Hutch (the movie), Will & Grace, The Wedding Planner, Little Nicky, Vanilla Sky, Swordfish and The Banger Sisters.

Most recently, Zaratsian was a featured designer at Elle Décor's 2004 Dining by Design, presented by Champagne Taittinger. The world famous Hollywood Palladium played host to this highly coveted, must attend design industry event. The annual event, which celebrates design like no other, benefits DIFFA (Design Industry Foundation Fighting AIDS). DIFFA is one of the largest funders of HIV/AIDS services and educational programs in the United States.
